LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 40-year-old man was arrested Sunday in connection to a fatal shooting in Louisville's Algonquin neighborhood on Sept. 2024.

John Bradley, a spokesman for Louisville Metro Police, said Charles Miles was arrested and charged with the murder of Jamal Churn.

On Sept. 2, 2024, officers responded to the 1600 block of Moore Court just after 7 p.m. on a reported shooting. 

Police found Churn with multiple gunshot wounds and he was taken to UofL Hospital where he later died.

Miles has been initially charged with murder and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
