LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A nine-year-old boy was shot in the St. Denis neighborhood on Saturday night, according to Louisville Metro Police.

LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said police responded to a shooting in the 3200 block of Greendale Drive, near Rockford Lane, around 8:36 p.m. Police arrived on scene and found a child who had been shot in the arm.

Mitchell said the boy was shot by people shooting at the home. The child was taken to Norton Children's Hospital with what is believed to be non-life-threatening, according to Mitchell.

There aren't any suspects in the shooting. LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating the incident.
