LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The victim from Wednesday's afternoon shooting in the Russell neighborhood has been identified.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner Office, 22-year-old Corey Dillard, of Louisville, was shot and killed at South 12th Street and Muhammad Ali Boulevard around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Three other men, Louisville Metro Police said, were also shot and taken to UofL Hospital with critical injuries. Police said as of 3 p.m. Thursday, all three men were still in critical condition.
"Obviously this is in broad daylight, and we strongly believe somebody saw something," LMPD Spokesman Dwight Mitchell said.
