LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 46-year-old man charged with murder after a man was shot and killed in the Newburg neighborhood last week pleaded not guilty in court Tuesday.

After leaving the business, the two continued arguing in the parking lot until Badibanga allegedly pulled a gun and shot Mulinda four times before running away.

Mulinda died at the scene.

Police talked to witnesses and reviewed surveillance video before arresting Badibanga.

During an arraignment hearing Tuesday morning, the judge entered a not guilty plea on his behalf and order a public defender. His bond was set at $500,000 full cash. His next court appearance is scheduled for May 14.
