LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Bullitt County Sheriff's Office arrested a man wanted for drug trafficking Friday.
On Dec. 2, the sheriff's office posted a wanted poster on its Facebook page for Jacob Miles, who they said was a person of interest in the case and had two outstanding warrants.
But the post went viral over a comment by someone named Jake Miles, who said he'd seen the wanted man at a gas station. He also replied to a comment from someone posting WDRB's article on the search for the suspect, that said "That's crazy. Wonder if he knows. They probably done grabbed him up and wrecked his Christmas plans."
On Friday, the sheriff's office said in another post that deputies served a search warrant on a home in northern Bullitt County where Miles was "known to be hiding." He was taken into custody on his outstanding warrants out of Meade and Bullitt counties for drug trafficking.
Miles, 35, is being held at the Bullitt County Detention Center. According to online jail records, he's being held on a $10,000 cash bond awaiting his first court appearance.
The sheriff's office did not say whether or not the commenter was the man they were searching for and later arrested.
