LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police said a Bullitt County woman led officers on a chase before crashing into a police cruiser.
A Bullitt County Sheriff's deputy said he saw 58-year-old Darla Burbank speeding on Highway 44, west of Shepherdsville, on Nov. 28. There was a warrant out for her arrest, so the deputy turned to follow her, but she took off.
According to the arrest report, Burbank was driving recklessly all over the road and nearly hit another vehicle. The deputy eventually lost track of her, but a witness told the deputy she had pulled into a driveway on Mount Elmira Road.
When the deputy arrived at that location, Burbank reportedly crashed into his vehicle and continued trying to drive away. But she was pulled from the car and arrested.Â
Burbank faces a long list of charges, including driving under the influence, reckless driving and fleeing or evading.
