LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A convicted sex offender wanted in southern Indiana was arrested Thursday morning.
In a social media post on Wednesday, Clark County Sheriff Scottie Maples asked for the public's help finding Calvin Hoke III because he had failed twice to register as a violent sexual offender.Â
Hoke has convictions for child molestation, possession of child pornography, sexual abuse and promoting prostitution, according to Maples.
"As promised, if you fail to register as a violent sexual offender in Clark County, I'm posting your picture and warrant," the sheriff said in Wednesday's post post.
A warrant was issued for Hoke's arrest on two counts of failure to register as a sex or violent offender in Clark County.
Maples said in an update Thursday that Hoke had been located, arrested and booked into the Clark County Jail
According to the arrest warrant, Hoke's bail was set for $5,000.
