LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 31-year-old woman who was shot to death in Louisville's Park Duvalle neighborhood on Tuesday has been identified.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office said Latia Greenwell died at University Hospital from a gunshot wound.
Louisville Metro Police said the shooting happened Dec. 19 in the 1700 block of South 32nd Street around 7:30 p.m. That's near Dr. William G. Weathers Drive and Wilson Avenue, not far from Algonquin Park.
Once on scene, officers found a woman — Greenwell — who had been shot. Police rendered aid until EMS arrived and transported her to the hospital, where she later died.
Police believe a woman who later showed up to University Hospital with a stab wound was also injured at the same scene. Her condition was unknown at the time and police have not provided an update on her condition.Â
At the time of the shooting, police said they believed they had "all parties accounted for" in the incident, but didn't confirm whether any arrests had been made.
