LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man who was shot to death in Valley Station shortly after midnight on Tuesday has been identified.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office said Montrez Boyington, 34, died from multiple gunshot wounds.
Aaron Ellis, a spokesman for Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded to a reported shooting at an apartment complex in the 5500 block of Eight Bells Lane.
When they arrived, they found a man, Boyington, inside one of the apartments who had been shot.
Officers and EMS rendered first aid, according to Ellis, but Boyington was pronounced dead at the scene from his injuries.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating, but has no suspects and has made no arrests.
