LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Hardin County, Kentucky, man was sentenced to prison Wednesday for mailing threatening letters.
Kyle Miller, 21, was sentenced to four years in federal prison and three years of probation for mailing threats to kill or extort people, according to a news release.
On four separate occasions in 2023 and one in 2024, Miller mailed letters to a victim in which he made threats to kill and/or extort them, according to prosecutors.
It is unknown what relationship, if any, Miller had with the victims or what brought about the threats.
There is no parole in the federal system.
