LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An Indiana police department commended officers for rescuing people inside a burning vehicle.
The Bargersville Police Department said officers Cody St. John and Joshua Wheat responded to a vehicle crash near West Stones Crossing Road on Dec. 8. The officers saw the vehicle was on fire, and the driver was badly injured and trapped.
St. John and Wheat worked to rescue the driver and extinguished the fire.
"This is a fine example of these officer’s commitment and dedication to keeping the citizens of our community safe and the selflessness with which they serve," Bargersville Police Department posted on Facebook.
