LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man and woman were charged with reckless homicide more than a year after an infant allegedly died from a dog attack in southern Indiana.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Office said the attack happened April 3, 2025 in the 1800 block of County Road 100 East in Brownstown. Police didn't offer many details about the case, just the sheriff’s office investigated "the death of an infant resulting from a dog attack."
On May 7, a Jackson County Grand Jury indicted 50-year-old Todd Banks on one count of felony reckless homicide. A warrant was issued for his arrest, and Banks was arrested Sunday, May 10, police said.
It's unclear what Banks' relationship to the infant is, but police also said Paitlyn Grove, 25, the child's mother, was also charged with reckless homicide.
