LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A judge set a $100,000 bond Thursday morning for the man charged with shooting a man in the arm on Christmas Eve in Louisville's Newburg neighborhood.

Louisville Metro Police officers said Rogelio Ramirez Camarena shot the man near his left wrist early Dec. 25. Later that day, his cousin called police saying Ramirez Camarena was in an apartment with three other people, though the victim was no longer there. The three barricade themselves in a bedroom and felt they couldn't leave because Ramirez Camarena had a gun. All three escaped through a second floor window.

Ramirez Camarena was arrested and charged with assault and wanton endangerment. A not guilty plea was entered for him in court Thursday morning.

A judge kept his bond at $100,000 with the option of home incarceration if he posts it.
