LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- One person was killed in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 65 in Bullitt County on Christmas morning.
According to Shepherdsville Police, 911 calls started coming in about 6:45 a.m. about a driver going southbound in the northbound lanes of the interstate. A short time later, the car hit a semi head-on at the 114 mile marker.
The driver of the car died at the scene. No information was given about the semi driver.
The crash closed the northbound lanes of the interstate for several hours.
The crash remains under investigation, but police believe the driver got on the interstate going the wrong direction at the Brooks exit at the 121 mile marker.
