LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Nelson County Sheriff's Office found two guns after a chase that went into Bullitt County, according to police.
A sheriff's deputy tried to conduct a traffic stop on a silver car for speeding on Highway 245. But the vehicle continued into Bullitt County before crashing on Interstate 65.
Police said two guns were found during the search of the vehicle.Â
A juvenile was taken into custody after the chase, according to police. The male was then taken to a juvenile detention center.
"The juvenile who was caught did make a statement to a deputy the reason they run is because they aren’t used to being chased," the sheriff's office said. "Keep your criminal intent out of our county."Â
