LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville Metro Police are investigating after a juvenile was shot Tuesday night.

Around 8:30 p.m., LMPD responded to the 1200 block of West Hill Street on a "ShotSpotter" run, LMPD spokesperson Sgt. Matt Sanders said in a statement. That's near the Park Hill and Algonquin neighborhoods.

While officers were in route to the scene, they were advised that a shooting victim had shown up by private means to Jewish Hospital.

Sanders said a juvenile was shot in the buttocks, and will remain at Jewish Hospital for treatment.
