LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Metcalfe County, Kentucky man was arrested and charged in a deadly crash last month that killed three teenagers.
Glasgow Police Department said in a release Asa Howard, of Edmonton, Kentucky, was arrested on Saturday and charged with murder, assault and wanton endangerment.
Police said on Oct. 17, Howard was driving a car at a high rate of speed on North Jackson Highway in Glasgow when he failed to stop at the intersection with Veteran Outer Loop, crashing into another car. Howard left the scene on foot after the crash, and was "under the influence of an intoxicating substance," police said in the release.
The case is still under investigation by Glasgow Police Department.
