LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB/WAVE) — A Louisville man and Nicholasville woman were sentenced to federal prison Thursday after prosecutors say the pair plotted to sexually abuse two minors.
The U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky sentenced Charles O’Loan, 40, and Amber Warner, 36, to 15 years in prison on one count each of attempted online enticement of minors. Both will face lifetime supervised release following their time served.
According to federal prosecutors, O'Loan and Warner communicated with each other between Jan. 11, 2024 and May 30, 2025, to coordinate plans to sexually assault two minor victims.
Authorities said the two exchanged messages on their cell phones discussing illegal sexual acts involving the victims and used grooming tactics. Prosecutors also said O-Loan and Warner sent sexually suggestive videos to each other depicting the victims.
The court ordered the defendants to pay the two victims $6,000 in restitution.
"These defendants coordinated to sexually assault two minor victims," said U.S. Attorney Kyle Bumgarner. "Their conduct is disgusting. Louisville is better for 15 years while they reside in federal prison."
There is no parole in the federal system.
