LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A woman was arrested Monday and faces child endangerment charges after she was seen pole dancing on a stop sign.

According to court documents, in Falmouth, Kentucky, state troopers received a report of a woman "walking erratically" near an apartment complex.

She walked toward a stop sign at the intersection and struggled to keep her balance. Then she began pole dancing on it.

The woman, identified as 33-year-old Kristi Pence, was visibly intoxicated and kept relying on the stop sign to maintain her balance, according to court documents.

Pence told police she had an argument with her girlfriend.

Troopers spoke with her girlfriend who said Pence was with her two-year-old son. Pence denied having her son with her but then troopers found the child inside her vehicle which was parked near the apartments after jumping a curb.

Police said she refused to take a breathalyzer test. She was arrested by the Falmouth Police Department and her charges include wanton endangerment, endangering the welfare of a minor and DUI.

The child wasn't injured and was taken into custody by Pence's mother.
