LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A juvenile is expected to survive after being shot in the jaw Tuesday night in Louisville's Shawnee neighborhood.
LMPD spokesman Matthew Sanders said in a news release that officers responded to the area of 41st and Market streets just after 10 p.m. on a reported shooting.
When they arrived, they could not find a victim, but later found a "male juvenile" inside of a home in the 100 block of South 41st Street.
He had a gunshot wound to the jaw and was taken to UofL Hospital. He is expected to survive, according to the release.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating.
