LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A teenage girl is recovering in the hospital after being shot Monday evening.

According to Louisville Metro Police spokesperson Aaron Ellis, officers responded to Norton Children's Hospital after a teenage girl, who had been shot, was brought to the hospital by private means.

She was alert and conscious when she arrived at the hospital, Ellis said.

LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating, but have not located the shooting scene and have no suspects.
