LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An hours-long SWAT standoff ended in the arrest of a 45-year-old man early Thursday morning near Fern Creek.

Police arrested Robert Deleuil after he went live on Facebook, threatening to blow up a school and kill children.

According to LMPD spokesman Matthew Sanders, police were made aware of Deleuil around 4 p.m. and tracked him down to his address in the 6800 block of Elkhorn Court.

When they arrived and made contact with Deleuil, he told police that his intention was to kill them too.

After six hours, he was arrested just after midnight and charged with multiple counts of terroristic threatening.

According to an arrest citation, Deleuil also made threats to kill his ex-girlfriend and his ex-girlfriend's current boyfriend.

He is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 3.
