LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man was sentenced to nearly 10 years in federal prison for conspiring to distribute 50 grams of methamphetamine and 40 grams of fentanyl.

Christopher Payne, 30, was sentenced Sept. 22 to nine years in prison after pleading guilty in June to one count of conspiring to possess with the intent to distribute controlled substances, including meth and fentanyl, between April 3, 2024, and July 9, 2024.

Payne will have five years of supervised release after the nine years in prison.
