LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man has been charged with kidnapping, robbing and assaulting an elderly woman.

Court records said police were called to a home on Wheeler Avenue on Monday and found the woman, who had an injured arm and swelling to her forehead.

She told police that Kenneth Brown asked her for money, and after she told him she didn't have any, he allegedly threatened her with a knife and forced her into a car to take her to a bank. The report said he forced her to withdraw money and give it to him.

Police later found Brown at a gas station. He reportedly ran from police but was later caught on Ashland Avenue.

Brown faces charges including kidnapping, robbery, assault with domestic violence, fleeing police and criminal trespassing.
