LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An investigation is underway after a man was found shot early Monday in the Algonquin neighborhood.Â
Louisville Metro Police officers were sent to the scene of a reported shooting in the 1500 block of Moore Court around 10:30 a.m., according to a news release. That's near 12th Street and West Hill Street.
When officers arrived, they found a man believed to be in his 60s with gunshot wounds to his legs. He was given first aid at the scene until EMS arrived. The victim was conscious and alert when he was taken to UofL Health Hospital and is expected to survive, according to the release.Â
Investigators later determined the man was shot Sunday night near 26th and Howard Streets.Â
