LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man suspected in a weekend homicide that happened in the Park Hill neighborhood went before a judge on Monday morning.

Brandon Johnson, 26, was arrested Saturday and charged in the death of 27-year-old Dwayne Sensley.

Johnson admitted to police he shot and killed Sensley, because he caught him leaving the back door of his home and confronted him. However, neighbors say they never heard any argument before shots were fired.

Police arrived at Johnson's home on St. Louis Avenue and found Sensley shot; he later died at the hospital.

Johnson is a convicted felon, and is now facing charges including murder.

His bond was kept at $1 million.
