LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 25-year-old man was arrested after a fatal crash Thursday morning on the Western Kentucky Parkway.
Kentucky State Police said in a news release that the Grayson County Sheriff's Office called for assistance for the crash. It happened around 4:25 a.m. near the 117 mile marker.
Officials said Francisco Tziquin, of Houston, Texas, was driving a 2017 Honda Civic in the westbound lanes of the parkway when he crossed the median and hit a 2008 Lincoln MKZ traveling eastbound.
A woman was in the passenger seat of Tziquin's car at the time of the crash. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other juvenile passengers that were in the Honda Civic were transported to Norton Children’s Hospital for serious injuries.
The Lincoln MKZ was being operated by Isaac Hearn, 25, of Leitchfield. Hearn was taken to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center with serious injuries, according to the release.
Tziquin is currently being held at the Grayson County Detention Center with charges of leaving the scene of an accident failing to render aid and no operator's license.
