LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Louisville man has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting Monday night in Shively.Â
Kevin Kennebrew, 29, was arrested and charged with the murder of Ronald Washington III in an apartment in the 1800 block of Appleton Lane.
According to court documents, Kennebrew and two other men fired shots into an apartment where a family was gathered, including young children.
Washington was shot and taken to the hospital. He died during surgery. A woman was also grazed by a bullet.
Kennebrew is charged with murder, assault and 10 counts of wanton endangerment. He is scheduled to be in arraignment court on Thursday at 9 a.m.
