Man charged with attempted murder after shooting in Lawrenceburg, Ky.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Lawrenceburg Police say they've arrested a suspect after he shot a man in Anderson County, Kentucky.

According to a news release, police were called to a home on Versailles Road, near Bluebird Court, just after 8:30 p.m. on Sunday after a report that someone had been shot. When they arrived, they found a male gunshot victim, who was taken to UK Hospital for treatment.

Police arrested Hugh Matthew "Matt" Robinson, who lived at the home, according to the news release. Police say Robinson was charged with attempted murder and lodged in the Shelby County Detention Center.

The victim's current condition is not known.
