LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police are investigating after a man died at the hospital following a shooting in the city's Algonquin neighborhood.
Officers were called to 23rd and Algonquin Parkway around 8:30 p.m. Friday on a reported shooting, LMPD Spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said in an emailed statement.
Once on scene, police found a man who had been shot. He was transported to University Hospital where he later died, Mitchell said.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating, but has no suspects and has made no arrests.
