LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man is dead after being stabbed Thursday night near Louisville's Pleasure Ridge Park neighborhood.
Louisville Metro Police officers were called to the 9500 block of Johnsontown Way on a reported stabbing just after 10 p.m., department spokesperson John Bradley said in a statement. That's near Johnsontown Road, off the Greenbelt Highway.
Once on scene, police found a man who had been stabbed multiple times. Bradley said he was taken to UofL Hospital in critical condition. In an update early Friday morning, Bradley said the man had died from his injuries.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is handling the investigation. Bradley said "all parties" in the stabbing are "believed to be accounted for," and charges are pending.
