LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was taken to the hospital after an apparent shooting in the Russell neighborhood late Wednesday evening.
It happened around 11:30 p.m. in the 2200 block of Cedar Street, near W. 22nd Street, according to a news release from Louisville Metro Police. Officers responded to that location and found a man who had been shot.
The victim was given first-by officers aid at the scene until EMS arrived and took him to UofL Health Hospital in downtown Louisville. His injuries did not appear life-threatening, according to the release.
