LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man was hospitalized after a shooting early Sunday morning in Louisville.
Louisville Metro Police Spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1900 block of West Madison Street at 3:15 a.m. Sunday.
When officers arrived they found a man who had been shot. Mitchell said the man was taken to UofL Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Mitchell said officers later discovered the man was shot in the 1800 block of Greenwood Avenue, in Louisville's California neighborhood, while trying to get into his car. Mitchell said the suspect ran away in an unknown direction, and there are no known suspects at this time.
