LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was hospitalized Wednesday evening after being shot in Old Louisville.
Louisville Metro Police Spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said officers responded to a reported shooting at Fourth and St. Catherine streets around 5:30 p.m.
Once on scene, police found a man who had been shot. He was transported to University Hospital and taken into surgery. Mitchell said he is expected to survive.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating. Mitchell said "all parties involved have been accounted for," but did not specify whether any arrests had been made.
