LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was taken to the hospital after being shot in Newburg on Saturday afternoon, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD spokesperson John Bradley said police responded to a shooting in the 4200 block of Norene Lane, near Poplar Level Road, around 1:30 p.m. Police found a man who had been shot.
He was taken to University of Louisville Hospital by EMS. Bradley said the man is expected to survive the shooting.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating the incident.
