On Sunday, LMPD said in a Facebook post detectives served a search warrant Friday evening, Sept. 26, in the 5000 block of Yew Lane. That's off Shasta Trail.
The shooting happened in the 4200 block of Norene Lane shortly before 4 a.m.
In a letter to staff, UofL Health Peace Hospital CEO Aundrea Lewis said she was taking time off for herself, her family and her own mental health.
LMPD's Non-Fatal-Shooting Unit is investigating the incident.
Police were called just before noon on Monday.
Aaron Ellis, a spokesman for Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded to Norton Audubon Hospital on a shooting victim.
LMPD spokesperson John Bradley said police responded to a shooting in the 4200 block of Norene Lane, near Poplar Level Road, around 1:30 p.m.
Gun violence reduction efforts in Newburg still in the works after Thursday's homicide at local park
After a violent week in Louisville, questions are being raised about what's being done with money the U.S. Department of Justice gave the city in February to combat gun violence in the Newburg neighborhood.
LMPD Spokesperson John Bradley said officers were called to a reported shooting in the 5000 block of East Indian Trail just before 9 p.m.
The Domestic Violence Unit is investigating and all parties have been accounted for.
