LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was taken to the hospital after being shot in the Algonquin neighborhood on Tuesday evening, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD responded to a shooting in the 1600 block of Brashear Drive, near West Hill Street, around 5:23 p.m. Once police arrived on scene, they found a man who had been shot in the stomach, back, leg and arms, according to LMPD Sgt. Matt Sanders.
Sanders said the man was alert and conscious while being taken to the hospital.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit Shooting is investigating.
