LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The 15-year-old victim of a double shooting in Louisville's Portland neighborhood on Tuesday has been identified.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office said Titan Walker, 15, died of a gunshot wound in the 2900 block of Garfield Avenue around 11:15 a.m. on Oct. 8.
Louisville Metro Police Spokesman John Bradley said at the time that officers were called to a reported double shooting on Garfield Avenue just before 11:30 a.m.
Once on scene, officers found two victims with gunshot wounds. Lifesaving measures were performed on Walker, but he died at the scene. A woman, believed to be in her 60s, was also shot. Police said she was transported to UofL Hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating, but at last check had no suspects and had made no arrests.
