LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was taken to the hospital after being shot in the St. Joseph neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said police responded to a shooting in the 2300 block of Crittenden Drive near Eastern Parkway, around 2:30 p.m. Police found a shooting scene, but didn't locate a victim.
Ellis said a short time later a man arrived by private means to University of Louisville Hospital by private means with a gunshot wound. He was alert and conscious, when he arrived.

LMPD's Non-Fatal Unit is investigating the shooting, but there aren't any suspects.
