Man shot and killed in Louisville’s Russell neighborhood, police say

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man is dead after a shooting in Louisville's Russell neighborhood Sunday evening.

Louisville Metro Police responded to the 2100 block of West Market Street Sunday about 7:15 p.m. on a reported shooting, department spokesperson John Bradley said.

When police arrived on scene, they found a man who had been shot. Bradley said life-saving measures were given, but the man died at the scene.

LMPD Homicide Unit is investigating, but have no suspects and have made no arrests.
