LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville police are trying to identify a man captured on video running from the scene of a double shooting in Old Louisville on Sept. 15.
Louisville Metro Police released surveillance video of the suspect on Friday running from a scene in the 800 block of South Fourth Street, where two men had been shot. It happened about 2:30 p.m. Both victims survived, but LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit (NFSU) believes the man in the video is connected to the crime.
LMPD said in a social media post that, "He started the day dressed in all black, then tried to change clothes to avoid being identified. Spoiler alert: it didn’t work."
Anyone who recognizes the man or has information is asked to call LMPD's anonymous Crime Tip Line at 502-574-LMPD (5673). Tips can also be submitted anonymously through the department's Crime Tip Portal by clicking here.
