LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man previously convicted of voyeurism was arrested again after being accused of spying on women in Bloomington, Indiana.
According to reporting by FOX59, 42-year-old Michael Love was charged with three counts of voyeurism, with each being a Level 6 Felony.
Bloomington Police Department Officers responded to a residential area Friday, April 17, on reports of a man in a woman's backyard looking through her window. After the woman gave a description, officers located Love a short time later, noting he matched the description other female callers provided to police regarding similar situations.
Love was detained and transported to Monroe County Jail. According to court documents, his initial hearing was April 21.
FOX59 reported this is not the first time Love was arrested on voyeurism charges.
Love pleaded guilty to criminal trespass in 2020, but the state dismissed the voyeurism charge in exchange for a plea deal. He was sentenced to probation and agreed to a stay-away order involving a residential area in Bloomington. Later that same year, he pleaded guilty to criminal trespass again in a separate case.
Most recently, Love pleaded guilty Nov. 13, 2024, to a misdemeanor charge for voyeurism.
Courts documents show the Monroe County Prosecutor's Office filed a notice of intent to seek an enhanced penalty for Love's prior convictions.
