LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A woman charged with murdering a patient at a Louisville addiction treatment center was ordered to undergo a mental evaluation.
Angela Hensley is accused of strangling Holly Knight at Praxis of Louisville by Landmark Recovery in the Hazelwood neighborhood Feb. 9.
According to court documents, Hensley told detectives Knight said she wanted to die, so Hensley killed her.
"She said she wanted to die so I killed her," Hensley told Louisville Metro Police detectives, according to the arrest citation.
Hensley was arrested Feb. 11, two days after Knight, 48, was found dead in her room. She will now be evaluated to make sure she's competent to stand trial.
Hensley is expected back in court in April. She remains in Louisville Metro Corrections with a $1 million bond.
