LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two people were arrested this week during a traffic stop conducted by Kentucky State Police.Â
It happened Thursday in Carrollton. That's when a state trooper stopped a vehicle and requested assistance from a K9 unit.
During a search of the vehicle, approximately 1,524 grams of suspected methamphetamine was found. Police also seized approximately 86 grams of suspected cocaine and an undisclosed sum of cash.Â
The vehicle's driver -- 55-year-old Kevin Reynolds -- was arrested at the scene without incident. He's charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine) greater than two grams, trafficking in marijuana less than eight ounces, trafficking in a controlled substance (cocaine) greater than four grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The vehicle's passenger -- 42-year-old Roxanee Foster -- was also arrested on an active warrant.
They were both taken to the Carroll County Detention Center.
The investigation is ongoing.
