LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Bullitt County man was arrested Sunday for allegedly exchanging THC products for sex with his 16-year-old adopted daughter.
According to court documents, the 54-year-old man was charged with rape, incest, unlawful transaction with a minor and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
In an interview with the Bullitt County Sheriff's Office, the victim told police she had sex with her adoptive father for several years and, in exchange, he provided her with THC vapes and other products, according to court documents.
The suspect told police this happened about once a month.
Due to previous felony convictions, the suspect is prohibited from owning firearms, but an AR-15-style rifle was found in a shared office. Police said a witness was in the process of moving the firearm as officers arrived at the scene.
The suspect appeared in court Monday and a cash bond was set at $100,000.
