LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An 18-year-old man and a teenager were both arrested Friday in connection to a fire officials said was intentionally set last week at Marion C. Moore High School on Outer Loop.

The Louisville Fire Department said Kaleb Pierce, 18, and a juvenile were charged with second-degree arson. Pierce's jail intake information shows he's also charged with burglary, criminal mischief and unlawful transaction with a minor.

The fire happened Aug. 1 in the Health Science building at Moore, Jefferson County Public Schools officials said at the time. Fire officials said the preliminary cause was arson based upon witness statements, scene examination and surveillance video.
