LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --Â A TARC passenger threatened to blow up a bus Thursday morning.
Aaron Ellis, a spokesperson for Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded to TARC headquarters in the 1000 block of West Broadway on a report of a bomb threat just before 10 a.m.
Police said the buses in question were located and the passengers were evacuated and provided transportation.
LMPD's Bomb Squad and K-9 Unit determined the the threats were false and all clear was given.
In a statement Thursday, TARC said they received a threat from a passenger to blow up a specific bus on TARC's #25 Oak Street.
"TARC supervisors and staff went quickly to each scene and TARC sent an additional bus to ensure that affected passengers would be able to get to their destination," TARC said in a statement.
TARC said minor delays in service are expected.
