LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A southern Indiana sheriff's deputy found meth, ecstasy and heroin when he arrested a fugitive wanted on felony charges over the weekend.Â
The deputy was patrolling on Highway 31 with K-9 Zeus in Scottsburg on April 7 when he recognized 35-year-old Christopher A. Trick leaving an apartment building parking lot in the back of a vehicle, according to a Facebook post from the Scott County Indiana Sheriff's Office.
The deputy knew Trick was wanted by the Indiana State Department of Corrections and stopped the vehicle, according to the Facebook post.Â
Trick was then arrested for the felony warrant, and after further investigation the deputy found more than 103 grams of methamphetamine, along with ecstasy, cocaine, heroin and drug paraphernalia.Â
Trick faces numerous charges including dealing and possession of meth, possession of cocaine or a narcotic drug, possession of a controlled substance, and obstructing justice.Â
Trick is being held at the Scott County detention center. He is scheduled for a court appearance on April 11, according to online records.Â
