LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police are searching for a man after a fatal shooting in Franklin County on Saturday night.
According to KSP, police responded to an altercation near Flat Creek Road around 10 p.m. Police said Justin Girtley and Steven Girtley were involved in an altercation.
When police arrived on scene, they found Justin Girtley with a gunshot wound. Police said Steven Girtley fled the home into the woods before police arrived.
Justin Girtley, 36, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are still searching for Steven Girtley, 60, after the alleged shooting. Steven Girtley is 6', 185 pounds with blue eyes and a gray beard. He was last seen wearing camouflage clothing.
Franklin County Sheriff's Office posted on Saturday night that Steven Girtley is armed with a handgun.
