LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Shively police are investigating after a woman was shot early Wednesday morning.

According to a news release, the shooting happened around 12:30 a.m. in the 3500 block of Shaffner Drive. The shooting appears to be between known parties.

The woman, who police believe was in her 30s, did not suffer life-threatening injuries.

Police said all parties have been accounted for and the investigation is ongoing.
